BIOGRAPHY
In the British Isles it is often said that boys born in Cumbria have an original outlook on life. Dan Bewley was born on May 20, 1999 in the charming town of Maryport and fell in love with motorcycles from an early age. In 2018, he became the English U-19 champion, and two years later he triumphed in the U-21 championship. Dan started his club adventure in Edinburgh, Scotland, but as a bright student, he quickly learned the secrets of driving on tracks in Glasgow, Workington and Manchester. The scale of his talent is proven by the fact that Dan won the prestigious Grand Prix competition three times, became the individual British champion twice, and won the Speedway of Nations gold medal with the English team at the Belle Vue Aces facility. He scored as many as 206 points in Speedway Grand Prix competitions. His driving style resembles a cruise on Ferdinand Magellan’s ship. Fascinating lightness, tactically wise driving, beautiful silhouette and brilliant maneuvers on the track. For Dan Bewley, there are no situations that cannot be solved. He impresses with his original actions, always guided by the motto: respect the opponent’s bones. The motorcycle doesn’t bother him between his legs, and when Dan isn’t letting out the clutch, he loves to relax with a game of golf.
TEAM BEWLEY
The source of success for talented speedway riders is not only their titanic work on the track. The great champion from New Zealand, six-time world champion – Ivan Gerald Mauger – used to repeat: championship titles are won in the workshop. Even the most stylish competitor will not achieve much if he does not have the support of excellently prepared mechanics. Spannerman is the key word – without the technically advanced knowledge of mechanics who are passionate about their work, without their incredible dedication and kilometers spent behind the wheel, there would be no hope for perfectly prepared equipment. Chains, sprockets, frames and the engine will not want to work on their own. The accessories that Dan has are perfected by the excellent hands of Polish mechanics. These are real handymen. No chemistry between the speedway rider and the mechanic, no sense of humor and unconventional ideas, there is no question of a dazzling release of the handle. Dan Bewley is lucky that he entrusts his equipment to a team of trusted people who constantly study the secrets of mechanics and are ready to get on the bus at any time of the day or night so that their competitor can sleep peacefully.
